It was a beautiful fall day celebrating this dear-to-me family in the autumn colors in Healy.

The Sivils family is so dear, and they've been traveling the US for over a year now!! When they made a trip "home" to Healy over the fall, we squeezed in some time to take some family photos. I have taken photos of their family since they were pregnant with their first baby and it is just so special to me that they trust me with their family photos each year!! It's also a treat to see how much my photography has grown since those first years - I wish I could go back and do some of those first sessions over again!!


Darja was really hoping for some mountains in the background for photos, and my favorite mountain spot was too cold and windy, so this place was a great second option! The kids have been in much warmer weather for a good part of the year they've been traveling, so they were grateful to have a less windy spot for photos. We took the time to take individual photos of each kiddo, each kiddo with mom and dad alone, a few of just mom and dad by themselves and of course lots of the whole family!!


This session I captured one of my favorite photos ever of big brother and big sister and I will treasure it forever. There's lots more goodness below, scroll through to see more of my favorites!
