This hockey session was a bit breezy but Nicolas' senior season of his sport was worth documenting!
You may remember Nicolas' incredible fall session with his family's airplanes and fall colors right before winter hit! We had such a lovely time together then and got some really beautiful images!
Well, this time Nicolas and I coordinated our schedules and met up at the local outdoor hockey rink for some photos. This late winter (dare I say spring?) has been a wide range of temperatures. One week it was -40* BELOW and way too cold to take hockey photos. The next week? 40* ABOVE and way too warm to take hockey photos!! This is the challenges of playing outdoor hockey in a small town. We're grateful for Healy Hockey Association's team to keep the ice good for as long as possible!
It was quite windy on this day, but we made the best of it and snapped images quickly! Nicolas played his senior year of hockey here for TVS (my husband was his coach!) and the season has been closed for a while now. Unfortunately, Nicolas broke his wrist mid season and had to miss some of it, but we're grateful it healed well and he's back to full use again!
Congratulations, once again, Nicolas! Excited to see what is ahead for you!
Thanks for reading!
