Nicolas, Class of 2024

This crisp fall senior session included an airplane, a truck, the mountains and snow and a 2024 graduate! It was genuinely so much fun!

Nicolas was such a natural at his senior session! When we were planning out his session, his mom asked if he wanted any photos with their family airplane - wait, what? "YES! Let's meet at the airplane!!" I was so excited, and so was Nicolas as this piloting is a family tradition, going back to his grandfather.

It was a crisp, fall day and Nicolas was such a good sport. We took photos quickly to try and beat the cold. First we met up at the VERY cool family airplane on our local airstrip. These photos were taken just on the tail end of fall colors with just a hint of snow in the mountains beyond. I'm so glad that we got the chance to get these done as a few days later it snowed!

Next, we headed up to the lake to take a few photos with Nicolas' truck. From there, we went to a mountain spot I tried describing to him, but he wasn't quite sure where I was thinking. When we got there, Nicolas said "Oh! This spot is really special to me, I love it up here." What a fun coincidence!

I loved chatting with Nicolas and getting to know him better. My husband is his high school hockey coach and knows him well, but it was fun to get to hang out with him myself! I enjoyed hearing about his hopes of getting his pilot's license by the end of the year and his plans of working for awhile and then serving a mission before deciding what to do next.

Congratulations, Nicolas! Excited to see what is ahead for you!
