With Josi and Ashley's wedding day fast approaching, we had the honor of capturing their engagement photos in the very place where their love story began.
It was so special to join Josi and Ashley for their Alaskan Engagement Session in these mountains near Denali National Park where they had their first date together just a year prior. This spot is also the same location that we took Josi's senior pictures several years ago. Josi is a dear cousin and his bride-to-be Ashley is such a gem! He couldn't have picked a better gal to join our family.
Ashley and Josi met while serving in Youth With a Mission (YWAM). These two love Jesus and love serving him by caring for and leading others. They plan to continue serving with YWAM once they are married.
During their engagement session, giggles abounded! It was no difficult task getting these two to relax and have fun together in front of the camera. Josi and Ashley are so laid back and spending time with them it was easy to tell that they are looking so forward to marriage, not just their wedding.
I cannot wait to be taking pictures at their wedding this month! Their family is rallying around them to bring their special wedding day to life, and family is flying in from all of the country and world to celebrate them. My husband Dakota gets to stand up with Josi, my girls get to be flower girls, and I get to photograph their special day - it's going to be one of my favorite weddings ever!
The love these two share is so precious and I can't wait to watch them travel the world together and win it over for Jesus. Thanks for reading!
