Cousins. Friends. Is there a more fun way to celebrate a cousin visit than a besties photo session?
When Alli booked her ticket to Alaska to visit family, I couldn't wait to get the girls together to do a cousins photoshoot! Alli & Aya were up for the fun and trusted me completely when I told them that I knew of a fireweed patch that I really wanted to try taking photos in... they'd just have to believe me the photos would turn out!
And turn out, they did! AHHH these girls are so beautiful! It was late in the season for fireweed, but this field was still going strong. We took these photos well after 10 pm, thanks to the land of the midnight sun.
Alli & Aya were joined by myself, my mom Tina and grandma "Mum". We had so many laughs and it was truly the most fun way to be together before Alli headed back home a few days after.
There were a surprising number of raspberries at our location! The girls happily munched along while making their cousin laugh!
We couldn't leave the location without taking a photo with their grandma, "Mum"! I'm so glad she came along for the fun - even if there were a lot of mosquitoes along the way. Alaskan gal Aya was much more used to the mosquitoes than poor Alli, who the mosquitos particularly seemed to favor.
Oh yeah, and the location I've mentioned a few times?? It was right along the highway near Healy, Alaska. The highway is one thing, the other? It's right next to the local transfer station. We took a few photos to prove it, but you'd never know otherwise!!
Alli & Aya! Cousins, besties, a whole lot of fun. Thank you for the joy of getting to take photos together! I love you!
Thanks for reading,
