Ashley's Winter Maternity

Today, I'm thrilled to share some beautiful - and chilly!!! - images from my cousin Ashley's winter maternity shoot!!

We took Ashley's winter maternity photos on a cold day in February. Josi and Ashley were married a few years ago and I had the huge honor and blessing of photographing their engagement session and their cozy wedding!!! How delightful to now photograph the next chapter of their relationship... the one where they become mom and dad!!!

Earlier this fall, Ashley & Josi had a huge season of change come up. Josi got a new job, they were working on moving into a new place, they shot a moose. I hadn't seen Ashley for a few weeks since all of these things happened and I quipped, "Hey, congratulations on your whole life changing!!" To which her eyes widened. I said, "Oh my goodness, did your whole life change?" To which she just kind of smiled and nodded. We were at church and couldn't talk more but I squeezed her hand and appropriately celebrated once there weren't others around. Babies are a blessing from the Lord!!

We took these photos out Stampede Road, which is such a lovely spot to take some photos.
